A few of our talented stylists were among the crowd of prominent Aussie and International designers, magazine editors, models and influencers. We chatted with them about their favourite fashion moments, the most empowering things they saw and their biggest trend predictions!

What were you doing at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week:

As a volunteer, I was able to work both front of house and back of house.
Front of house duties included ushering any VIP members to their seats and signing people in on arrival. I was also helping prepare the runway, making gift bags for the designers and I was able to watch the shows with a great view, so that was a bonus. Back of house duties included preparing and steaming garments for designers, dressing models and working closely with the stylists.

Your favourite fashion moment at MBFWA:

Dressing one of my models who wore the finale dress for Matrai Label. There was a tonne of media taking photos of my model while I was dressing her. I felt like a proud mum dressing her baby for her big finale on the runway!
Working backstage at the Camilla Show. Being able to dress the models and be apart of such a MASSIVE production Literally took my breath away. I’ve never seen anything like it. I’m still speechless! If you watched the Camilla Show you will understand why.

The most empowering thing you saw or overheard:

Definitely all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes. Seeing the chaos and talking with some of the designers was a great reminder that hard work (like blood, sweat and tears type of hard work) really does pay off. Great things come from a long endurance of commitment, dedication and focus.

Your experience in 5 words or less:

Inspiring, motivating, fun and rewarding!

What were you doing at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week:

I was invited to a few shows and also approached by an online fashion magazine because they wanted to snap me at Fashion Week. My friend is also one of the six Innovator designers, so I went to watch and support her.

Your favourite fashion moment at MBFWA:

Definitely the photographers shooting my actual outfit when I arrived. Also finally meeting so many fellow fashion bloggers and stylists.

Your biggest trend prediction:

Blazer and pants in different colours. Starting from checks to pink, purple yellow. A mixture of masculine and feminine looks.

Your experience in 5 words or less:

Loved every minute.
