This International Women’s Day, I invite you to explore the dreams you’ve put on the back burner. If you had infinite time, money and energy what would make possible?

As Australian women (and men), we live in a country where there is very little limiting us. If we think we can’t do something, it’s often only the limits we impose on ourselves that hold us back.

I’m often asked by women wanting more in their careers or personal life: how they can get what they really want. When I ask them what’s preventing them, nine times out of ten it’s a lack of confidence.

Some believe you either have confidence or you don’t, when really it is something to be earned and available to everyone.

It doesn’t just arrive out of the blue. Instead, it grows when it is fed and nurtured.

From my own experience I know that it’s taking action, going for what you want and being able to say you’ve achieved something that will foster confidence. You need to drive it yourself, instead of looking for external sources of validation alone.

By taking action and backing yourself, your confidence will grow.

If you had all the time, money and energy in the world, what would you fill your days with?

Listen to your honest answer, because there’s a big chance that it will unlock your happiness.

Let’s brush off the self-imposed limits and start believing in ourselves.

Happiness will follow.

Happy International Women’s Day,
